Abstract blue

Flower picture photographed on my balcony. I put the flower in a bottle of water and then photographed it very close. I think its pretty sharp but still with some blue blur to make it abstract.

Camera: Canon EOS 350D Lens: Tamron 90mm Macro

1/60 sec at f 2.8, ISO 100

  • Superb capture of petal detail -- looks like slightly crushed silk material. Beautiful! As the thumbnail, to me it looks like one of our cactus -- a blueish-green cactus that looks like a rose in the way it grows naturally, very close together. I'm in Australia.
